ABOUT THE STUDIO
We are architects and multi-disciplinary designers. From our London studio, we work on a handful of projects that take us from town to country to coastline. Intricately tailored and high performing, the spaces we create are thoughtful environments that enrich people’s lives.
Collaborating with trusted craftspeople and makers, we design complete homes, where architecture, interiors and the objects within are conceived as a whole. There’s a coherent aesthetic that runs through every space – external and internal, macro and micro.
We seek challenge and possibility. From new beginnings to the rehabilitation of neglect, we are known for our way of combining heritage buildings with the contemporary, orchestrating a conversation between the ages. Working with great care and affection, we are always mindful that uniting past with present is a privilege, as well as a balancing act, that takes time, skill and understanding.
Driven by detail, we work with a rigour that demands our design decisions have clear purpose and justification. Projects are often defined by unique historical, cultural or geographical situations and constraints, which, for us, act as catalysts for vision and creativity.
